MAP 1040 has grown to incorporate more specialized workers with expertise in education, health care, and trained counselors. Our desire is to add more of these professional disciplines to further help the people of these nations. The compound in SL will be developed as children's home and widow's home. The care of nurturing children in a safe environment will be our main focus. Providing care for widows will too be a focus as elderly care to relieve pressure from families is not available in SL. The base in SL will also host an International School specific to teach English to poor children locally. Grants and education vouchers will be given to further train children to reach their potential. We believe that an attitude of success must be out back into the next generation to eradicate the plague of teenage suicide in these nations.
We too foresee in the future to work in the eastern horn of Africa nations of Djibouti, Somalia and Ethiopia. As too these nations are in dire straits of a bleak future.
Given the determination to help the underdog, we are asking you to stand with us prayerfully and monetarily to restore families in Sri Lanka, India and Indonesia.
